Here is another survivor of the Land of the Kings attack. See the story here. On May 15th, we rushed her to the vet for emergency surgery to repair her broken jaw. A metal wire was inserted to help the healing process. While the surgery was successful, her recovery took longer than expected. Six weeks later, the wire was removed in another surgery, adding to the overall costs.
Today, Wire Girl is healthy and living a normal life with us, alongside Rusty and Nacho. Her total veterinary bill of €345 has now been fully covered—special thanks to Lisa, our largest contributor, for helping close the final gap.
Wire Girl is thriving, and we’re hopeful she’ll soon be ready for adoption.
